MY STORY
Welcome to my website. I thought it might be interesting for you to know a little about me and how I got started.
I started my business working for friends, listening to their wants and needs in their home. Some had challenging design dilemmas and it was my passion and knowledge that was able to find them solutions. We know that every home may have a unique challenge that may affect a homeowners dream design. The way to make better changes, is finding a solution that gives you a great design for your home because every home is different.
When it comes to decorating, I always knew I had a love for design, a natural sense for color and knowing that each color choice builds on your next color. Understanding the true colors in a paint chip is the first step before creating a color scheme. My business quickly grew organically with referrals from satisfied friends and clients. When I reflect back to those first years, I realize that my dreams were coming true. As I met with more and more clients, I realized that for some people seeing the "vision," making decisions and choosing products was confusing and stressful. This is when I started to offer my Value Based Fees, which is where I consult on projects like this to assist in narrowing the selection of finishes from flooring, cabinetry, countertops, carpeting and paint color to ensure harmony and uniformity.
My feelings about remodeling and working with clients is understanding what the client's needs and style is and creating spaces that people wish to live in. Its about knowing how to incorporate the perfect colors along with textures and patterns to create interest. I always ask my clients to start pulling photos of rooms that they admire. Starting a wishlist of specific elements that they would love to have in their home. My clients know that I understand their aesthetic, their lifestyle and their budget so being transparent is important. Creating a home that they love is my joy.
